UX & Service Design

How do we work with UX & Service Design? In an initial step, we define goals and set up metrics that make it possible to steer design and development towards benefits for both business and users. We map the users' behaviour, motivations, and needs. The conclusions are documented in customer journey maps and other methods relevant for the purpose. We review best practices, benchmark against existing solutions, take what is good, and develop new solutions where needed (so-called innovation). After core idea for the solution is set, wireframes, concept design, and prototypes are validated, discussed, and improved at a rapid pace. The result is a document that clearly but at a high level describes how the solution should look and function.
This kicks off the agile development process. Our designers hand over their work to developers, often in the form of a backlog with simple user stories, design sketches, and documentation from the UX work. We absolutely advocate close collaboration between developers and designers throughout the whole development process. Our designers assist developers by validating the solution and by highlighting opportunities for improvement. This ensures that the final product delivers the intended benefit and.
